The DSR4EXTUSB unit will allow a USB-C connection for Wireless Designer to the receiver via the back plate, external audio outputs in either analog or AES3 format, and the DC connection is via Hirose 4-pin connector, one of the standard connectors for this application. Two things to keep in mind: the DSR4 is not yet ready to connect to Wireless Designer (soon!) and secondly, firmware updates for the receiver cannot be done via this new bottom plate – instead, the USB micro-B connector underneath the front panel of the receiver is required for firmware updates.
