Guy says, "The HD 25-1 II headphones are what you'll see me wearing on set. They're small, lightweight and comforable. Included in the package is the velour cups which offer a softer feel. While not as neutral as the Sony 7506 headphones, they added detail lets me hear the high quality of the mics. To me it sound truer than what the industry standard 7506 allowed me to hear. It really is "like being there". In Europe/Asia the HD 25-1 II seem to be more of the standard than the 7506. It may be because of the better sound, but also because of the impedance. The Sennheisers are much louder given the same signal. This means that your equipment (headphone amps) do not have to work as hard to bring you the same level of sound. Overall, a great value and will last years and years.
