The MXO2 Rack for Mac/PC from Matrox is a device that combines the functionality of an I/O card in the form factor of a rackmountable breakout box. This 2U unit is designed for use in postproduction facilities, broadcast news operations, OB vans, and other environments that can benefit from streamlined workflow with Adobe Premiere Pro and Apple Final Cut Pro on PCs and Intel-based Macs. This unit features multiple audio and video inputs & outputs. Advanced audio functionality includes 5.1 and 7.1 surround-sound monitoring. HDMI video monitoring can be calibrated. 10-bit hardware is included for up-, down-, and cross-scaling. This unit is also compatible with a wide range of common industry file formats and codecs.
